Who is responsible for your information?
Moroccan Surf Journey, based in Tamraght, Morocco, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@moroccansurfjourney.com.
When you send an enquiry
Our package and camp forms collect your name, email address, mobile number, surf level, chosen package or camp, room preference, number of guests, travel dates and any message you enter. We also calculate a quote and deposit estimate from your selections.
We use these details to answer your questions, check availability and help arrange your stay. The form sends your enquiry to our contact mailbox through OVHcloud email. The website does not take card payments or collect bank-account details. Please avoid including passport numbers, payment details or sensitive personal information in the message field.
Responding to an enquiry and arranging a requested booking involves steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or fulfilling that contract. We also use limited technical information to operate the website and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable and secure. Where applicable, we process booking records to meet legal obligations.
Hosting and service providers
Netlify hosts the website and processes requests, including enquiries submitted through the site. Hosting systems may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security logs. OVHcloud provides our email service. Google provides optional analytics when you accept it.
These providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. The safeguards and processing terms depend on the provider and service. You can contact us for more information about the providers used for your enquiry.

Optional Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use our website. This can include pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information, referral sources and approximate location. Analytics helps us improve our pages and visitor experience.
Our Google Analytics tag stays blocked until you select “Accept analytics”. Selecting “Reject analytics” leaves it blocked. Your choice does not affect browsing, prices or the ability to submit an enquiry. Advertising consent remains denied, and our tag disables Google signals and advertising personalisation.
You can withdraw or change your choice using in the footer or here. Rejecting analytics stops further collection by our GA4 tag and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this website. If analytics was already running, the page refreshes to apply your choice. This does not automatically erase information already sent to Google.

We ask again when your saved choice expires. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice applies to the current visit and you may be asked again next time. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is held in our email system. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes a booking, whether follow-up is needed, and any applicable accounting, legal or dispute-related requirements. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your correspondence.
Analytics cookies and saved consent have the lifetimes shown above. Information already collected by Google Analytics is subject to the property’s retention settings and Google’s processing terms; cookie expiry does not itself delete analytics reports.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests to contact@moroccansurfjourney.com. We may need to confirm your identity before disclosing personal information. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority, including Morocco’s CNDP or the authority in your country where applicable.
Links to other services
If you choose a WhatsApp, social media, Google Maps or Tripadvisor link, you leave our website and that service’s privacy policy applies. Public review excerpts on this website display the reviewer’s published name, rating and excerpt.

We may update this page when our website or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest update.
